Overview

Using an IO Mail extension enables sharing assets from Xinet to both internal and external users. The extension creates a temporary folder inside volumes that can only be seen via a direct email link. The volume can be hidden from the navigator using Venture and Solr settings to prevent it from being searched.

This article addresses an issue when the hidden assets can not be accessed with direct links when Solr is enabled in Xinet version 19.2.1.

Information

The feature is functioning as designed in Xinet versions 2020.X and later. Unfortunately, no fixes will be developed for the old versions as the issue has been fixed in the later updates.  We suggest upgrading your Xinet version to 2020.X or later by following the steps in Upgrading Xinet article.
